Typically, an Accountant has broad competence and a drive to work both strategically and operationally but also a leader with wide knowledge of accounting principles and best practices, including closing activities and accounting and ensuring financial flows and qualitative financial reporting, taxes and payroll. 

Expected responsibilities (not exclusive) to:

  • Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports
  • Oversee the financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process on statutory and corporate level
  • Responsible for the production of consolidated financial and/or regulatory reporting from a legal entity perspective for internal and external bodies, in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Role provides management of the client or corporate accounting function including compliance with company/client policies and maintenance of strong internal controls, cash management oversight, pertinent and timely financial reporting, and effective communication between the accounting staff and project personnel

You should have a university education in Accounting Finance or Business Administration. Experience in working and understanding functions as audit, internal control, controlling, reporting & planning, Knowledge or understanding of IFRS, K3 and GAAP, including statutory tax environments. Working with various ERP systems such as SAP, Fortnox, Visma, Microsoft. It carries merit that you have good communication skills, both written and verbal in Swedish and English.
